ECDL PROVIDES ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MIGRANTS – HUNGARY

Twenty-five migrants coming from different Asian and African countries, who are now living in Hungary, recently received their ECDL certificates at an awards ceremony in Budapest.

The candidates received the opportunity to train and take the tests for free, thanks to the cooperation of Migrant’s Help Association (MigHelp) and ECDL Hungary. MigHelp organised and coordinated the training and the testing at its Accredited Test Centre in the Refugee Camp of Bicske, while ECDL Hungary supplied the ECDL Skills Cards for free, and further supported MigHelp’s project by accrediting and operating the Bicske Test Centre free of charge.

At the certificate-awarding ceremony, many of the candidates expressed the joy and happiness that they feel as ECDL holders – and hope that their certificates will help to find them employment.
