The International Conference on Informatics in Schools: Situation, Evolution and Perspectives (ISSEP) is a forum for researchers and practitioners in the area of Informatics education, in both primary and secondary schools. The conference provides an opportunity for educators and researchers to reflect upon the goals and objectives of this subject matter, its curricula, various teaching and learning paradigms and topics, as well as the connections to everyday life — including the various ways of developing Informatics Education in schools.

John von Neumann was one of the exceptional scientists of the 20th century. His contributions in the field of computer science, mathematics, quantum physics and game theory laid the foundation of our modern world.

The International Symposium on Distributed Computing (DISC) is an international forum on the theory, design, analysis, implementation and application of distributed systems and networks (CORE rank A). DISC 2019 will be held in Budapest, Hungary, between the 14th and 18th of October.

Seven workshops are co-located on the topics of distributed platforms, graph algorithms, blockchain, cloud computing, etc. See the accepted papers and workshops on the conference website.

The Program Committee of the 27th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI-ECAI-18), joint with the the 23rd European Conference on Artificial Intelligence, invites the submission of technical papers for the main technical track of the conference.

The 2018 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems cordially invites you to consider contributing an Event (conference, symposium, workshop, consortium meeting, research dissemination meeting, special session). The FedCSIS multi-conference consists of a significant number of recurring Events and it welcomes proposals for new Events until November 14, 2017. The Events can run over any span of time within the conference dates; from half-day to three days. Invitation is extended also to existing events that would like to join the vibrant FedCSIS ecosystem.

The FedCSIS Multi-conference consists of Events (conferences, symposia, workshops, special sessions, etc.). Each Event may run over any span of time within the conference dates (from half-day to four days). The FedCSIS Events provide a platform for bringing together researchers, practitioners, and academia to present and discuss ideas, challenges and potential solutions on established or emerging topics related to research and practice in computer science and information systems. Since 2012, Proceedings of the FedCSIS conference have been indexed in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science.

EDCC 2016 offers a very unique event that will continue and leverage the history of past years of dependable computing, definitely mixing academic research and industrial experience being a forum to discuss today's challenges, and providing an umbrella for regular workshops. In addition to original papers on research, EDCC welcomes papers dedicated to dependability in practice: industrial applications, experience in introducing dependability in industry, use of new or mature dependability approaches to new challenging problems or domains, etc.

Researchers in Artificial Intelligence and related fields are invited to participate in a summerschool on AGENT-BASED MODELS OF CREATIVITY, focusing in particular on the domains of language and music. Musical creativity underlies musical composition, Jazz improvisation, musical performance, and active listening. Language creativity occurs whenever speakers go beyond canned phrases to express new meaning in novel ways and whenever hearers need to flexibly apply their linguistic knowledge and extend the conventions of their language to make sense of an utterance.

Planned programme of the conference:

9:30  Registration

10:30  Opening address by Ferenc Friedler, president, John von Neumann Computer Society (NJSZT)

10:40  Marina von Neumann Whitman, professor, University of Michigan

11:10  Norbert Kroó, advisor to the president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences:
