30th Summer School on Image Processing

The Summer School on Image Processing aims to provide a stimulating opportunity for graduate and PhD students interested in image processing. The 30th edition will be held between July 7 and 16, 2022, in Szeged, Hungary, organized by the Department of Image Processing and Computer Graphics, University of Szeged.

Participants will benefit from direct interaction with internationally renowned researchers in various fields of image processing and computer vision as well as from interacting with fellow participants from all over the world.

Students will also have the possibility to present their own research in a short talk. The established tradition of SSIP is that, in addition to morning lectures, students work on a project assignment in international teams, which are then evaluated by a committee of lecturers on the last day.

Students will receive a certificate of attending the Summer School and passing the exam, which is recognized as a special PhD course by several universities.

SSIP 2022 is organized as a hybrid event. Lecturers and students may choose to participate on this event in person or online. The CEEPUS participants – according to our current knowledge – cannot receive virtual scholarship in the given period. If the epidemiological situation would change dramatically, SSIP 2022 will proceed in fully online mode.
